Brief history
Clayton Kershaw born in Texas where he was born and spent a considerable amount of his early years. He studied at Highland Park High School and was an active baseball player and a bright student. In the 2006 MLB draft he was selected by the Dodgers in the first round and in 2008 he became a Major League player. He spent his entire career with the Dodgers as he also received a $215 million contract in 2014 when he was signed for a period of seven years.
He has three children with his wife: Cali Ann, Charley Clayton, and Cooper Ellis, and Cody James respectively. He is a Christian and supports humanitarian causes through a charitable institution he set up with his wife: Kershaw’s Challenge. Kershaw’s Challenge provides assistance to needy children in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Zambia, and the Dominican Republic.
